Megan Reynolds (Sheppard) advises and acts for individuals and corporations across a wide range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, creditor-priority litigation, class action defence, construction, and enforcement of other business contracts. Megan has represented clients at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador and is also well versed with different modes of alternate dispute resolution including commercial arbitrations and mediations. Megan’s business law practice focuses on projects and commercial transactions in the mining and cannabis sectors and she advises on wills, estates and trusts matters.
Originally from Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL, Megan was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2015 following her graduation from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2014. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Memorial University. She is the current Chair of the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board and was elected President of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador in August 2020.
