Benson Buffett PLC is thrilled to announce that, effective 1 July 2021, Geoffrey Penney, Olga McWilliam Benson, Katrina Gibbons and Megan Reynolds have been elected as directors. As Benson Buffett’s newest directors each will continue to provide dedicated counsel to clients and contribute to the growth and the direction of Benson Buffett.

Geoffrey Penney has been with the firm since January 2015. Geoffrey practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, condominium law, construction law, property development, contract law, and insurance law. He regularly advises individual and corporate clients and condominium boards on a variety of issues.

Olga McWilliam Benson has been with the firm since January 2016, having practiced for fifteen years in a small firm environment. While Olga’s current practice focuses primarily on personal injury and general litigation, she has extensive experience in employment law, real estate and Estate matters.

Katrina R. M. Gibbons has been with the firm since November 2016.  Katrina maintains a diverse practice including family law and business law, and she dedicates a large portion of her practice to residential and commercial real estate.

Megan Reynolds specializes in a variety of complex civil litigation matters including shareholder disputes, construction and contractual disputes and class actions.  Her administrative practice includes advising a large quasi-judicial board and acting as chair of the Mineral Right Adjudication Board.  She has also appeared in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and been involved in Supreme Court of Canada applications and hearings.  When not involved in litigation, she advises clients on a broad range of other matters including wills and estates.  Megan has been with the firm since November 2016.
